Who We Are

Ancient Duel ("we", "us", the "Game") is a free, historical tactical card game playable on the web and as native apps. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Ancient Duel, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We only collect what we need to run your account and the Game:

• Account details — the email address, commander name (username) and password you provide when you register. Passwords are stored only as a secure hash, never in plain text.
• Social sign-in — if you choose to log in with Google or Facebook, we receive your email address and basic public profile (such as your name) from that provider to create or link your account. We never receive your social password.
• Gameplay data — your decks, matches, results, rankings, campaign progress and in-game achievements.
• Technical data — your IP address, browser and device type, and basic log data, used for security and to keep the service running.
• Usage analytics — anonymous events about how the Game is used, so we can understand and improve it.

Cookies & Local Storage

We use cookies and your browser's local storage to make the Game work — for example to remember your language choice, keep you signed in (including the optional "remember me" option), and store offline game data so you can play without a connection. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear this data at any time in your browser settings, though some features may stop working.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• create and maintain your account;
• run the Game — matchmaking, leaderboards, match history and campaign progress;
• send you essential messages such as account activation, password resets and important security notices;
• keep the Game secure and prevent abuse;
• understand how the Game is used and improve it;
• comply with our legal obligations.

Third-Party Services

We rely on a few trusted providers to run the Game, and your data may be processed by them for that purpose:

• Google and Facebook — only if you choose social sign-in, for authentication;

• correct inaccurate information (you can change your commander name in the app);
• request deletion of your account and associated data;

We protect your data with industry-standard measures — passwords are hashed, and connections to the Game are encrypted. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

Children's Privacy

Ancient Duel is a family-friendly game that anyone can play, including children. If you are under 16 (or the age of digital consent in your country), please use the Game with the involvement of a parent or guardian, and only create an account with their permission. We collect as little personal data as possible and never knowingly use children's data for anything other than running the Game. If you are a parent and believe your child has given us information you would like removed, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes may also be announced in the Game.
